As part of the Disney Cruise Line Operations Integration team, the Manager, Operations Integration Technology is responsible for project management and integration services for key projects and programs related to digital and technology-based initiatives across Disney Cruise Line Operations — with a strong focus on planning, communication, testing, training, implementation, and enhancement support. This position will also serve as a resource to select shipboard operating teams, providing support and subject matter expertise as the operation dictates.
Reports to the Senior Manager, Operations Integration Technology, Accessibility and Communication.
Responsibilities:
- Influence, prioritize and lead the implementation of process improvement efforts and system enhancement requests for DCL applications that serve the end-to-end Guest Experience. These include, but are not limited to: DCL Navigator App, Onboard Availability Reservation System (OARS), DCL App Messaging, Voyage Planner, Chargerback, Connected Experiences App, and other applications that are utilized by multiple shipboard departments.
- Serve as the cross-functional Operations subject matter expert for these applications listed above and shape their roadmaps with the corresponding Operations department leaders, Business Systems Management and Technology product owners.
- Co-lead planning and implementation efforts for shipboard booked experiences and activities, including pre-cruise and onboard, acting as champion for operations needs and priorities.
- Unite with DCL Digital Product and Digital Operations to drive new functionality and identify operational sustainment needs for the DCL Navigator App, DisneyBand+, Connected Products, and the related backend systems that support them.
- Support Senior Manager with project tracking, implementation planning, documentation, leadership updates, presentations and other special projects as assigned.
- Partner closely with DCL Business Systems Management on system administration and user access rights for applications within this position’s purview.
- Provide testing and training support to shipboard and shoreside teams. This includes being a conduit for on-going support and troubleshooting with core shipboard and Guest-facing systems.
- SMS Responsibility for upholding the general safety management responsibilities specified in the Safety Management System within areas of oversight.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as the business dictates.
Basic Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing, and supporting technology projects from an operations perspective.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated strong project management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong time management and organizational skills with a fanatical attention to detail.
- Ability to develop presentations that provide clear project status updates and illustrate overall project goals and interactivity, as well as other key deliverables.
- Experience in process optimization/transformation to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
- Ability to consolidate input from multiple sources, synthesize findings, and develop recommendations.
- Ability to support multiple and diverse initiatives with ease, and shift priorities in an ever-changing environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams with an ability to influence and align with multiple stakeholders at various levels of the organization, both shipboard and shoreside.
- Proven experience with project and process documentation.
- Extensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project, and other data management tools, such as SmartSheet.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient knowledge of Disney Cruise Line operations.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, communication, project management, engineering or equivalent

- Master’s degree or equivalent
