ADP is hiring a Manager, Retirement Benefits within ADP’s Global Total Rewards Organization
In this role, you will… responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations, governance and design of ADP’s retirement programs including 401(k), pension and executive benefit plans. This position will oversee all benefits administration and vendor management, analyze benefit plan performance and trends, ensure regulatory compliance, oversee annual audits, and participate in special projects.

What you’ll do:
- Manage internal and external vendors to ensure proper administration and compliance of qualified and nonqualified retirement programs.
- Assist in developing the retirement budget. Includes gathering key data inputs and developing historical trends that are required to model the 401(k)-company match forecast.
- Calculate annual contributions for executive plans and help with managing inquiries and retirement calculations when needed.
- Handle all annual benefit plan audit related work. Assist external auditors on development of financial statements and all government filings including PBGC, 5500s and SAR’s.
- Review and interpret legislative requirements for retirement plans to ensure proper compliance with ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations. Facilitate the process of updating plan documents and summary plan descriptions.
- Manage tasks related to SOX compliance for the retirement plans including monitoring key controls and recommend changes when warranted. Work with external/internal auditors to provide necessary support for agreed upon controls and processes.
- Analyze data to evaluate benefit program metrics and make recommendations accordingly. Maintain thorough knowledge of all cost elements of retirement plans. Keep abreast of market trends and analyze impact to ADP; assist in benchmarking analysis as needed.
- Develop communication and educational materials aimed at helping associates better understand the overall value of ADP’s retirement programs. Manage delivery of content for various programs including Financial Wellness, Student Loan Repayment, and 401(k) investment advisory services.
- Act as a point of contact for escalations pertaining to complex benefits matters. Perform other related duties and assist in other areas of the employee benefits programs as needed.
- Partner with Corporate Finance team to consolidate pension Disclosures for US and International plans under ASC 715 and US GAAP reporting requirements.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 3-5 years of experience in employee benefits with focus on retirement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project and vendor management
- Knowledge of IRS/DOL/ERISA regulations
- Excellent communication skills including ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of pension accounting a plus
