Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Engineer

Job Description:

• Provide MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) engineering support for equipment / vehicles used in defence industry
• Conduct incident investigations so as to perform diagnosis for reliability or supportability issues 
• Troubleshooting of electrical system, in automotive or machines. 
• Partake in equipment/ component reliability and studies  
• Conduct failure investigations and prepare reports for problems or issues based on findings from facts, researches, studies and make necessary recommendations and changes on electronic and electrical circuits.
• Submit investigation reports for reviews 
• Create product and project documentation, and to convey effective the instructions to electrician/technicians
• Work closely with other electrical / mechanical engineers on design or development matters
• Support initiatives to apply technical or innovative solutions to better work processes
• Conduct technology search for MRO applications and introduce technology enablers to improve performance and quality of the repaired systems or components

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics Engineering or Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics Engineering with at least 1 year of working experience automotive or aerospace maintenance related industry
• Occasional local travelling may be expected
• Able to read technical / electrical drawings and operate Solidworks / Altium software
• Hands-on experience with laboratory / diagnostic equipment
• Good communication skills and a strong team player
• Independent, meticulous and possess a positive attitude
