This position is for a Logistics Project Manager (LPM) role in support of the Multi-Domain Combat Solutions (MDCS) market segment.
The candidate will support programs such as Ship Self Defense Systems, Ballistic Missile Defense, and Aegis.
The Logistics Project Manager (LPM) leads a cross-functional team consisting of repair depot, training, technical documentation, and logistics analyses professionals.
They will:
1. Oversee the execution of all logistics efforts supporting one or more programs in the Multi-Domain Combat Solutions (MDCS) market segment.
2. Work closely with Program Managers and Government logistics customers on the day-to-day management, measurement, and reporting of logistics contract scope, including Earned Value Management.
3. Devise and implement plans, budgets, and schedules in response to program requirements, and monitor work progress of logistics personnel assigned to tasks to ensure milestones are met.
4. Ensure that design changes are reviewed for logistics impacts.
5. Support proposal activities, such as Basis of Estimate preparation, and may be assigned to participate in technical volume authoring, and capture and programmatic reviews.
6. Work for Global Sustainment and manage the people, processes, and tools that deliver logistics products and analyses to the program office.
7. Perform technical, operational, and business coordination between the Global Sustainment Centers of Excellence (COE), assigned LM Program Management Offices (PMO), and other RMS functions to ensure horizontal and vertical integration.
Basic Qualifications:
To be qualified for this role, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
1. Knowledge of Earned Value Management
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3. Experience in team building and conflict resolution
4. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
5. Familiarity with Logistics product development
Desired Skills:
Preferably, you should also have these desired skills:
1. USN Logistics/Sustainment Experience
2. Earned Value Management (EVM) experience or Control Account Manager certification
3. Scheduling and Resource planning skills
4. Proposal cost estimating and technical volume authoring
Security Clearance Statement:This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
