Position Summary
CVS Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as the Lead Director of Network Core Infrastructure Operations, part of the Infrastructure Operations & Service Delivery organization. In this senior leadership role, you will lead a team of Network Engineers overseeing the management, maintenance, and optimization of our extensive network infrastructure. This infrastructure spans over 10,000 applications (approximately 4,100 cloud hosted), serves 190,000 users, encompasses 10,000+ locations, and includes multiple datacenters and multi-cloud environments.
As the Lead Director of Retail Operations, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of retail operations, ensuring efficient and effective utilization of LAN/WAN infrastructure, compliance adherence, network operations centers (NOC), IT hygiene, change management and logistics within the retail sector. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of technological infrastructure and strategic mindset to enhance retail operations.
Responsibilities-
Network Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN/WAN infrastructure to ensure seamless retail operation, scalability, and security.
- Ensure the design, deployment, and maintenance of robust and secure network infrastructures.
- Oversee network capacity planning and scalability to accommodate business growth and evolving technology needs.
Strategic Oversight:
- Develop and implement strategies aligning retail operations with organizational goals, focusing on enhancing LAN/WAN infrastructure, compliance, and logistic efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams to plan and execute network expansions, relocations, and modifications.
Supervision of Network Operation Center:
- Manage and guide NOC activities
- Ensure round the clock monitoring, incident response and troubleshooting to maintain optimal network performance and minimize downtime.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Oversee and facilitate changes in technology, processes, or systems within the retail environment.
- Create processes that provide for seamless transitions and minimal disruptions to operations.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead a team of network engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high-quality performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and security, to align network infrastructure with organizational goals and security standards.
Vendor Management and Budgeting:
- Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers for network-related services and equipment procurement.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
Continuous Improvement and Compliance:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and technological advancements to optimize network performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all network infrastructure activities.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $144,200.00 – $288,400.00.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
