Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior Software Engineer to join our team! In this role you will provide program support in an experienced team environment analyzing software products

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Analyzing software products
• Developing custom software analysis tools as needed
• Solving challenging puzzles and providing creative solutions
• Working with senior engineering staff

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• BS or MS in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering and 0-2 years of experience
• US Citizenship. Secret clearance is required to start, and you must be willing and able to obtain/maintain a DoD TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance.
• Fundamental understanding of computer hardware architecture
• Experience with C/C++, Python, assembly, or other programming languages
• Ability to self-research and problem solve
• Effective communication skills with technical team members, managers, and customers

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• Embedded microprocessor experience
• Hardware/circuit design and development
• Virtual Machines (VirtualBox, ESXi, VMware, QEMU) knowledge
• Disassembly/decompiler (IDA Pro, Ghidra, OllyDbg, etc.)

Salary Range:  $68,400.00 – $119,700.00
