The Item Management Admin – Taxonomy, is a data-focused role and crucial to the success of the Procurement team. The Item Management Admin – Taxonomy, is a key role in the Taxonomy initiative and will assist with ensuring all invoices capture the correct information for an aggregated spend report by items, as well as be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the Parts Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with multi-departmental Taxonomy initiative
- Assist with maintenance and development of item and vendor mapping tables across multiple company entities
- Responsible for the quality control of information from vendor invoices being reported out from AI software into dashboard and resolve issues or discrepancies with cross functional team
- Responsible to ensure that the invoice extraction tool captures all necessary information from vendor invoices accurately
- Responsible to ensure the information from the invoice extraction tool populates to the dashboard properly and timely
- Responsible to receive and research item information from Family of Companies (FOCs) and map to existing item(s) or create new item(s) in system of record
- Responsible to receive & research vendor information from FOCs and map to existing vendor(s) or create new vendor(s) in system or record
- Responsible to ensure the Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool is accurate and up to date with all new items created
- Support new item creation process inclusive of: creating new part numbers, adjusting part numbers, and ensuring accuracy of new and existing item numbers in the system of record
- Expected to be involved and participate in team meetings, virtually or in-person
- Additional ad-hoc responsibilities as necessary
Basic Qualifications
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Construction Industry
- Experience with Construction related products
- Experience using Smartsheet
- Experience using Coupa
- Experience using Rental Man
