Position Description: Provide support to the Headquarters Information Services department, assisting with daily operations and projects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with tier 1 support for voice and desktop systems, resolving or conferring with the appropriate technical or systems personnel.
- Troubleshoot basic technical problems
- Respond to end user hardware and software requests.
- Assist in updating documentation of the local technology infrastructure.
- Assist in updating inventories of software, versions and applications of desktop computers. Control additions, deletions and changes in equipment assigned to the unit.
- Verify daily systems backups of the local server and other mission critical business unit infrastructure. Provide notification of any identified systems failures.
- Assist with projects as directed by the local IS staff, following Turner IS methodology.
- Maintain daily tickets to ensure the highest service levels are maintained.
- Contribute to training of end users on Turner standard software tools.
- Perform other duties as necessary

Qualifications:
- Enrolled in 4-year college or university offering accredited and credentialed degree program with at least 1 year of education and basic knowledge of IS or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills including student leadership, volunteerism, or other community involvement
- Passionate and willing to learn about overall Turner business strategy, culture and core values
- Assume personal and professional responsibilities for own actions and activities
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to tackle new projects and ideas, flexible, adaptable and with attention to detail
- Able to work independently, with some oversight, and in team environment
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to document and manage accurate and timely information
- Professional and clear verbal and written communication skills
- Computer data entry, database and MS Office skills, intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works regularly on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $17 – $22.
