The Role
Responsibilities:
- To provide support pertaining to Environmental, Health and Safety to wafer fabrication for the company
- To develop and support site Safety Programme and Emergency Response Teams
- To develop and support environmental issues, ensure adherence to sound and well established practices and management systems
- Monitor and review Safety Program and environmental issues and ensure adherence to sound and well-established practices and management systems
- Monitor industrial hygiene programs, conduct hazard analysis of hazardous substances and review hazard control methods
- To support ISO certification
- To liaise with the relevant authorities regarding regulatory requirements and permit applications
- Any other duties as assigned by Manager
Ideal Profile
Requirements:
- Degree qualification in Science or Engineering in Environmental, Chemical or equivalent
- 2-3 years’ experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical industries preferred.
- Preferred Certifications – Fire Safety Manager (FSM) and Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certifications are advantageous.
