Industrial Cleaning Operator (Seasonal)

Seasonal Opening!

Industrial Cleaning Operators at US Ecology are responsible for assisting in the operation of Vacuum Trucks and Tankers.  Cleaning Tanks using pressure washers.  Loading and unloading trailers.  Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.

Day in the Life

After grabbing your favorite morning beverage, you can expect to:

• Attend the morning safety meeting
• Get a briefing from your manager on the day’s activities
• Suit up with the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the day and/or task
• Work within the shop preparing customer orders, get equipment and supplies together for upcoming projects
• Use heavy duty cleaning equipment to remove products from customer storage containers
• Operate equipment such as vacuum trucks, tractor trailers, vans, and box trucks to assist other departments
• Maintain documentation of manifests and work orders
• Assist with cleanup of spills
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you need to apply

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Comfort wearing a respirator as needed (Clean shaven/mustache facial hair acceptable)
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
