Job Summary:
About the Role & Team
As a Financial Analyst on Walt Disney World Parks Consolidations, this position provides analytical insight on drivers and financial trends to better inform decisions on targeted growth, alongside effectively communicating major themes and storylines to executive audiences, including the Director, Walt Disney World Parks and Entertainment Finance and SVP, Operations – Parks.
Areas of support include: Theme Parks, Park Operations LOB, Experience Engineering and Enablement and Guest Experience Services with ongoing exposure into Costuming Line of Business and Disney Live Entertainment.
What You Will Do
- Develop the long-term plan, annual operating plan, and monthly forecasts for Walt Disney World parks
- Build productive relationships with key partners across a variety of fields (e.g., Ops Finance, Revenue Planning and Forecasting, Financial Systems, Financial Reporting, Workforce Management, Industrial Engineering)
- Develop an understanding of the business through objective financial analysis; proactively share insights with partners and leadership
- Evaluate current processes, make recommendations for and implement improvements
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 1+ years of experience
- Experience with internal financial and accounting processes (LTP, Monthly Forecasts, Month-End / Quarter-End Close, etc.)
- Exceptional partnering / relationship-building skills across areas and levels
- Ability to simplify complex issues and communicate clearly while incorporating “storytelling”
- Strong, experience-based MS Excel, PowerPoint, Longview, and SAP skills
- Proven analytical / strategic-thinking skills with close attention to detail
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent
