Description
We’re looking for an experienced, tech-fluent, highly motivated event communications writer and editor to produce original and engaging copy for high profile in-person, virtual, and hybrid events and experiences. This person will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on media, customer, internal/employee, and Apple partner events. The ideal candidate is an experienced copy and style editor with strong project management skills and a deep knowledge and passion for delivering exceptional event experiences. This person will: Plan, prepare, and present work to senior staff and cross-functional leaders. Execute end-to-end development of event content strategy to build content that attracts, engages, and informs attendees – in a range of formats (e.g. written, experiential, digital) and various channels (e.g. event website, app content, social, email, signage, and surveys). Deliverables may include direct outreach/invitation and transactional emails, event marketing and registration flows, and event support elements such as: style guides, FAQs, staff communications, training materials, executive summaries and more. Develop relationships and work closely with partners and leadership to develop event communication strategies. Ensure communication and strategies are approved, on-brand, and consistent in style, quality and tone across events. Work across teams to coordinate strategies and messaging. Work directly with project managers and team leads to ensure that schedules are accurate and realistic and that deadlines are met. Work with designers and creatives to produce messaging that creates a cohesive communication campaign with design assets. This person should be creative and results-driven, with the ability to partner with cohorts across multiple teams to create compelling and engaging original copy. Excellent content development, organizational, and leadership skills are a must.
Minimum Qualifications
- An accomplished writer with at least 5 years experience authoring and editing original event and/or experience marketing content for a global audience
Preferred Qualifications
- A clear, concise, and strategic problem solver with expert command of the English language, grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Ability to successfully organize, prioritize, and run multiple projects under established deadlines
- Experience dealing with accelerated timelines and shifting deliverables—while being able to prioritize, communicate tradeoffs, and keep teams on track
- Experience creating, following, and maintaining style guides
- Ability to collaborate with other writers, creatives, and editors on deliverables that represent a single, cohesive voice
- Excellent communication, cross-group collaboration, and planning skills with precise attention to detail
- The ability to collaborate and build close relationships with many cross-functional teams
- Passion for communications, creativity and storytelling, including utilization of new channels, strategies, mediums and tools.
- Passion for the Apple brand and Apple products, and strong drive to create clear work that feels uniquely Apple

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,100 and $173,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
