Job Description
- Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm EST.
- Onsite location: JFK Airport, Queens, NY
- Responsible for provision of on-site consultation, counseling and informational services to Airline employees.
- Provide initial assessment and triage for mental/behavioral health services.
- Provide short-term individual counseling with a variety of presenting issues including but not limited to mental, emotional, disorders, conditions, addictions, lifestyle management and worklife concerns.
- Provide referral to appropriate treatment or higher level of care based on clinical assessment (i.e. RFL, behavioral health of medical insurance, emergent behavioral health services, and community resources).
- Provide referrals to, and promote, other support benefits that the company has in place.
- Ensure RFL benefit coordination for all employees. Be knowledgeable of all EAP offerings.
- Partner with managers and local points of contact to support the needs of overall employee group at the work site.
- Conduct workshops, panel discussions and training seminars on health enhancement topics leveraging Aetna approved catalogue and training materials.
- Support company related events as needed (i.e. health fairs).
- Provide on-site Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD), by conducting group and individual sessions following a traumatic event, as requested and as clinically supportive and appropriate
- Offer Management Consultation (MC) to managers and other leadership and assist with any connection needed for formal referrals related to workplace issues
- Complete formal substance use assessment, treatment referral, and case management for non DOT and DOT covered employees
- Attend Internal and External Meetings as requested/appropriate with various attendees including onsite clinical manager, clinical onsite team, Airline employees and representatives.
- Maintain current licensure in good standing. Seek professional development and meet all licensure requirements in the state where you are providing services.
- Collaborates with team of professionals in a way that supports a positive clinical outcome and continuity of care for all employee clients
- Protect the confidentiality of member information and adhere to enterprise, EAP policies regarding confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of required information that meets risk management and regulatory requirements. Submit documentation on a routine, timely basis.
Required Qualifications
- License must be current and unrestricted, masters-level mental health professional ( LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, LCMHC, LICSW, LISW, Clinical Psychologist) OR a licensed PhD level Psychologist within the state of New York.
- 2+ years experience of substance abuse treatment and assessment and be SAP certified or be willing to become SAP certified
- 3+ years of direct clinical experience in a variety of settings
- Ability to work effectively as part of multi‐disciplinary team, working collaboratively with your on‐site resources
- Work collaboratively with HR and management team on employee wellness initiatives
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to deliver trainings to employees in an effective manner
- Strong communication (written, verbal) and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to respond to plan sponsor needs in a timely manner (email, in person, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working as an On-Site EAP Counselor at a large company/organization within an EAP, Wellness, and/or medical setting
- Familiarity with work related issues
- Expertise in workplace related stress within a corporate environment
- Strong intercultural expertise, particularly in a corporate environment
- Familiarity with workplace violence assessments, prevention and post incident recovery
- Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) training or certification
- Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP)
Education
Master’s Degree within behavioral health
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $58,760.00 – $125,840.00.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
