Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is a vacation ownership/timeshare that gives guests the ability to enjoy Disney vacations and travel experiences around the globe, for many years to come. If selected for this role, you will report to the DVC Sales Experience Manager.
This is a Full-Time role.
What You Will Do
As a DVC Associate with the Global Sales Contact Center Team (GSCC), you will connect with guests, over the phone, to share more about the benefits of the Disney Vacation Club and membership. Your role will be a blend of sales persuasion and service excellence focusing on the integrity of the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Inspire and invite guests to learn more about DVC while they are on vacation at Walt Disney World, all via telephone skills.
- Schedule appointments with our sales team members.
- Improve opportunities to increase sales revenue by generating leads following our calling scripts and conversation guidelines.
- Make outbound phone calls, assist with inbound calls as well as other virtual responsibilities with a changing work environment to achieve sales goals.
- Overcome objections and apply persuasive skills to promote DVC and the different ways to learn about the DVC membership benefits.
- Convey information clearly and concisely to optimize guest time while on the phone.
- Share your passion and knowledge of everything Disney with our Guests (as needed).
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 1+ year experience with Guest interactions in a comparable sales center or call center environment.
- Strong computer technical skills and self-discipline to remain on task as you consistently make outbound calls to engage guests.
- Proficiency with computers, Windows-based systems, and additional technical applications for call center efficiencies.
- Willingness to make outbound calls to achieve sales and lead generation targets.
- Available to work weekends, holidays, daytime, and/or late evening.
- Professional reliability and ability to adhere to the attendance policy, including scheduled work shifts, lunch/breaks, and punctuality.
- At-home professional work environment conducive to making phone calls (equipment provided).
- A history of taking initiative and being a self starter.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
Required Home Office Environment
- A dedicated home office.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (home and office) located in proximity to the Walt Disney Resort.
- You must have access to a desk with proper working space in a room that is free from loud and/or background noise that could be heard by guests on the phone.
- A high-speed, reliable broadband internet connection meeting the following speeds: 100MBPS download / 50MBPS upload minimum.
- In-home electric power and surge protector power bar to allow equipment to function accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-lingual (Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese)
- Knowledge of Disney Vacation Club.
- Understanding of the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts standards and expectations.
- Prior sales experience and knowledge of the sales process.
Education
High School Diploma or GED Required
