Are you highly passionate about Cybersecurity Architecture and Consulting? Do you enjoy integrating Cybersecurity into highly complex technical and application architectures? The Cybersecurity Architect develops actionable security blueprints, principles, models, designs, standards and guidelines to ensure enterprise information technology architecture is consistent, usable, secure and adds value to the business. The Cybersecurity Architect performs due-diligence activities including security monitoring to evaluate effectiveness of the enterprise security program and established controls.

What are your Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for enterprise due-diligence activities including security monitoring and security metrics to evaluate effectiveness of the enterprise security program and established controls.
• Responsible for establishment, implementation and maintenance of security standards that guide the design of technology solutions.
• Accountable for adhering to corporate architecture standards, ensuring technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization and contributing to corporate architecture strategy-setting.
• Responsible for ensuring necessary security controls are part of technical designs.
• Participates in governance processes to ensure consistent technology life cycle management.
• Builds consensus around principles of security architecture and interprets and clarifies these principles.
• Participates in IT security efforts across all business areas and client groups. Participates on project teams contributing input with regard to technology vision, opportunities and challenges.
• Participates in the evaluation, selection and implementation of technology solutions including providing detailed analysis of pros and cons and build vs buy options.

What is Required:

• 4+ years’ progressive work experience in security technology design, architectures, development and/or monitoring
• Proficiency in consulting, negotiating, communicating, consensus building, presentation, and facilitation
• CISSP – Cert Information Systems Security Professional Certification, or the ability to obtain with 180 Days of being in the role
• Experience and knowledge of defense in depth, trust levels, privileges, and permissions
• Proficiency in creating gradually complex architectural designs
• Experience Information Security procedures and controls
• Proficiency in consulting, negotiating, communicating, consensus building, presentation and facilitation
• Mastery of a variety of hardware platforms and operating systems including mainframes, distributed platforms, desktops, and mobile devices.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and think beyond established standards and processes
• Demonstrated effective decision-making skills related to implementing architecture and design
• In-depth knowledge of development practices of security technologies
• Successful experience in communicating technical information clearly and articulately
• Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies
• Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience IT related field or equivalent work experience

Knowledge of and demonstrated experience applying current and emerging technology solutions and trends including security and regulatory industry requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing security architecture on progressively complex IT projects
• Cloud security experience Identity and Access Management experience with employee and consumer identity security

General Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Annualized Salary Range: $102,000 – $165,800

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $102,000 – $127,500

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
