Construction Project Manager

• Salary job Compensation range : $85,000-$95,000 per year.
• Position Summary : We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Project Manager based in our Costa Mesa, CA office.

The Project Manager reports to the Director of Development and is responsible for supporting the development functions of the Company, including architectural design, construction, and facilities maintenance for new Wingstop restaurants, and remodels.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but not limited to the following :

• Assist with the preparation of new project budgets and cost forecasting.
• New store, refresh / remodel and special project management and coordination.
• Monitor and track the permitting process.
• Review all site, building and equipment shop drawings and submittals.
• Collaborates with Wingstop corporate and vendor business partners.
• Maintain and update master schedule.
• Tracks, reviews, and responds to landlords, general contractors, and vendors.
• Oversees general contractors, including bidding, contract, and warranty administration.
• During construction collaborating with architect and construction external partners to ensure conformance with scope and schedule, managing change orders, RFIs, submittals and reporting project progress accurately to senior management and operations.
• Ensures project closeout and timely collection of tenant allowances.
• Sets-up, organizes and maintains development team central files.
• Travels occasionally to project sites, including overnight travel, when necessary (up to 10%), for site meetings, surveys, progress inspections and punch list preparation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the development team.
• Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Far West.
• Support the adoption of standard operating procedures, based on industry best practices.

Minimum Qualifications :

• 2-5 years’ experience in retail store and / or restaurant development on the owner’s side.
• Experience in a related field in architecture, design, construction, engineering, project management or real estate preferred but not required.
