Tesla sets the bar for what a trustworthy & resilient charging network can be. The Commercial Charging Operations team ensures that Tesla continues to deliver the best possible charging customer experience through proactive engagement and growth of the global charging network.
The Charging Relationship Manager works on the North America Commercial Charging Operations team in headquarters. This role will be responsible for implementing and developing scalable solutions to maintain and enrich relationships with Charging site hosts. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for communication campaigns, standardization, data management and systems improvements to drive communication and operational excellence for the over 2,000 Charging sites hosts in North America. The responsibilities of this position may change over time and this role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the programs, projects and the organization. We have openings in Palo Alto, CA and Austin, TX.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for routine site host outreach and ad hoc campaigns
- Manage and develop standards for communication for the Operations team to implement
- Evaluate and improve communication lifecycle between Charging Operations and site hosts, inclusive of single and multi-site relationships
- Assess for and close data gaps for critical contacts and communication history
- Drive systems improvements with internal CRM and project management systems
- Take part in strategic planning to create scalable, robust processes which support the charging team’s business goal
- Own or assist with surprise & delight events
- The individual will work closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders including our Business Development team, regional Deployment teams, Tools & Analytics, UI, Content and close collaboration with global stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study, or equivalent
- Experience coordinating in fast-paced environments and teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects with an eye for efficiency and priority
- Superb communication skills
- Ability to anticipate challenges and solve before they become costly to correct
- Highly energetic personality, with a flexible attitude towards critical tasks
- Previous experience in a customer facing role
- Aptitude for system optimization for scalable solutions
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerAutomate, SQL, Python
- Spanish Speaking Preferred

Expected Compensation
$68,000 – $252,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
