What to Expect

At Tesla Brooklyn Park, we design, build and service custom highly-automated, high-volume manufacturing machinery that will help Tesla accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

Our location is currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to setup and operate our CNC Mills, Lathes and fabrication equipment. 

Shift: M-F from 6:30am – 3:00pm

What You’ll Do

• Display a positive attitude and practice strong work ethics that reflects the mission, philosophy and goals of Tesla
• Operate CNC equipment such as Haas Mills and Lathes to produce unique quantities of parts
• Review electronic or paper blueprints to ensure parts meet specifications
• Machine materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, plastic and other materials
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures
• Assist in other work areas to perform fabrication, assembly and maintenance when required or as business needs change

What You’ll Bring

• Associate Degree in Engineering or Technology in a related field from an accredited institution preferred, or equivalent
• Display extensive experience and proficiency with CNC Machining
• Display evidence of exceptional abilities
• Candidates need to have basic computer knowledge and skills
• Must have basic hand tools and tool box
• Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service skills
