CNC Lathe Set up

Essential Functions:

• Create and edit programs for the CNC lathes specifically: Eurotech – 710 and 420 / Hardinge – Cobra 42 and T42 / Miyano / Okuma
• Must be able to work independently to create programs and follow through the machining process from start to finish
• Modify and edit CNC programming as required and communicate programming issues and concerns with the supervisor
• Document and create job sheets
• Tracks and manages machining area
• Design and create jigs and fixtures to produce components more efficiently
• Identify tooling and fixtures needed to complete job from start to finish.
• Optimize the machining process and streamline productivity to produce products more efficiently
• Machine product to specified requirements as defined on the job drawings
• Verify dimensions of parts machined using precision measuring equipment
• Run first piece tests and set up quality control standards
• Ensures safety operating practices are demonstrated at all times
• Maintain tooling in optimal condition  

Qualifications:

• Must have prior CNC Programming/Set Up experience
• Experience with Okuma, Miyano, Eurotech or other Hardinge Lathe a plus
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to use measuring tools
• Must be a highly motivated and reliable employee
• Experience with mill-turning
• Ability to troubleshoot and work through issues effectively
• Must possess skills, experience, and training to function effectively

This is NOT a remote position. MUST be able to be in the office Monday-Friday/40 hours per week.
