Civil Engineering Assistant Project Manager – 4060

Description

STV currently has an opening in our Pittsburgh, PA office for a Civil Engineer – Assistant Project Manager in our Buildings division to lead an engineering design team working on some of the most projects in the Pittsburgh/Western PA region.  The team player we seek must have a BS/MS degree in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience. 

The candidate will be responsible for managing projects, interfacing with clients and agency reviewers, document preparation and production, monitoring budgets, schedules, and quality.  The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and knowledge of civil design processes to lead and mentor a team of staff. The ability to interact well with client management teams, engineers in other technical disciplines, and agency reviewers is essential. 

Required Skills:

• BS/MS degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Civil design and projects.
• Familiarity with the Pittsburgh/Western PA development review process is preferred.
• Ability to manage and provide technical expertise in the following areas:
• Water/Wastewaterdesign, Utility design, Stormwater management and erosion and sediment control design, Grading and drainage system design and Oil and Gas design

Required Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) is strongly preferred.
• Experienced in Civil Engineering design
• Excellent interpersonal skills
