Apple’s Camera & Photos team is looking for an outstanding individual to develop internal applications to support the software engineering organization. We are looking for a full stack developer to create and maintain software tools to store, search, and visualize data in support of Camera & Photos engineering needs. Do you want to shape the future of iOS, tvOS, and macOS? Are you looking to contribute to a product that is redefining digital photography on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac? Do you love creating tools and applications for internal customers? Apple’s Camera & Photos software team is looking for a full stack developer that is passionate about user experience, large data sets, scaling applications, and automating processes. The ideal candidate wants to create and maintain applications to store, search, share and visualize data to streamline and automate engineering workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in application development: Web, Desktop, Mobile
- Proficient in Python and JavaScript
- Strong Front End skills
- Experience with API development and RESTful services
- Experience with application deployment in cloud infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience working with large data sets (e.g. images/videos)
- Experience with databases: Postgres, NoSQL
- Experience with application deployment in cloud infrastructure
- Information retrieval and data mining
- Understanding of UX principals
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
