Job Title: Business Process Analyst
Job Summary:
The Business Process Analysts supports various departments to diagnose and improve business processes and increase efficiency. Tasks will include assessing business proficiency, monitoring workflow, making predictions, developing business process models, recommending enhancements and assisting the management in making decisions.
Duties and responsibilities:
Process Analyst
- Gather Data (process mapping, creating flow charts, reporting, questionnaires, etc.)
- Evaluate employee needs, internal workflows and business processes
- Interpret complex data and business metrics for relevant stakeholders
- Document business processes for current and for future reference
- Design workflow and process strategies to improve business performance
- Create and present process reports for client approval
- Monitor the efficacy of updated workflows
- Collaborate with various departments and IT to research software implementation
- Stay up to date with the latest business practices and technologies
Qualifications:
- BSc/BA in Business, Accounting, HR related degree, or relevant field
- Good knowledge of MS Office 365 Suite
- Strong analytical skills required
- Ability to gather and interpret data from various sources
- Strong problem-solving skills required
- Proficiency in Bluebeam software (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Working Conditions:
Office-based. Monday – Friday during normal business hours.
Physical requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a BPA to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The BPA is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
