Building And Design Strategist

Description:

Looking for an Architect to join the team as a Building and Design Strategist. This individual will be a 5+ year architect with a strong focus in design strategy and research. This position will essentially be a Architect that will spearhead all new design trends, technology trends, new concepts, and help to maximize the firms growth and adaptability to a new and ever evolving market.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on emerging trends and technologies to inform design strategies, with a focus on architecture and space design, and the potential impact on people’s lives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design solutions that address business and user needs, with a focus on designing spaces and environments that are fun, innovative, and impactful
• Drive ideation sessions and brainstorm creative concepts for new products, services, and experiences that incorporate architectural elements, while keeping in mind our values of fun, impact-mindedness, and tenacity
• Develop comprehensive design briefs and design systems to guide the execution of design solutions, with a focus on designing spaces and environments that embody our values
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions and iterate based on feedback and insights, with a focus on how spaces and environments impact user experiences
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry thought leaders to stay on the cutting edge of emerging trends and technologies related to architecture and space design, while being mindful of our values
• Create thought leadership content, including white papers, presentations, and blog posts, that position our company as a leader in the industry of architectural design research and strategy, while highlighting our values of fun, impact-mindedness, and tenacity
• Present thought leadership content at industry events and conferences to showcase our company’s expertise and innovative solutions in architectural design research and strategy, while embodying our values
• Work with marketing and communications teams to develop messaging and collateral that effectively communicate our company’s vision and value proposition in architectural design research and strategy, while staying true to our values

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience
• Bachelors degree in Architecture
• Extremely Tech Savvy (Quantified by programs used, etc.)
• Experience with current technologies (PM software, BIM, Revit, etc…)
• Project Management Skills
• Passion and Interest to Lead and stay on top of new trends
