BrandSafway is seeking strong leaders! We are in search of a Branch Manager to oversee and manage the activities of all departments of the branch, including responsibility for all P&L, assets, safety, and adherence to policies and procedures.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Schedules, organizes and communicates work between customers and companies with multiple crews and Foreman. Must work closely with client planning department and know how to use an outline of work scope for execution of project. Must have computer knowledge and estimating skills. Must be capable of reading blueprints. Responsible for safety of company team members and subcontractors. Accident investigating and reporting required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- The position requires a general knowledge of construction practices and an in-depth understanding of industrial and commercial scaffold construction principles and techniques.
- A thorough knowledge of safe scaffolding methods and materials, as well as necessary staffing requirements for construction projects is required.
- Due to the administrative nature of this position, strong managerial, motivational and analytical skills are important.
- The incumbent must be able to identify all Brand scaffold material, must be able to fill out leases and return on material, must know all permit procedures and understand contracts and contract language.
- This position requires the ability to build all standard and non-standard scaffolds (Brand and OSHA standards).
- The incumbent must be able to ensure project profitability/labor and material rate of return and must be able to order consumable items and utilize them efficiently.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position directly oversees the activities of commercial operations support staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and recommending employees for advancement, promotion or other change of status; rewarding and disciplining employees up to and including termination; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience
- Must have minimum of 4 years’ experience. BS in Construction Management preferred.
- Must have Estimating experience.
- Ability to handle a high quantity of administration of paperwork.
- Experience document reviews, including revised project procedures.
- Knowledge and experience in the maintenance and retention of QA documents and records.
- Strong safety culture.
- Experience with Unions a plus.
