Description
In this embedded software role, you’ll be part of the Sensing & Connectivity organization. You’ll face unique challenges in building and developing solutions across the entire stack, from the wireless foundations and pillars, to the application layer. This role demands exceptional technical proficiency and strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineers, designers, management, and other key stakeholders. You’ll have the chance to design, scope, and implement critical end-to-end features in the roadmap, working closely with early silicon, and leveraging your expertise to support and debug issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Solid C/C++ coding abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and software debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of real-time audio, DSP or wireless technologies
- Proven excellence in firmware, device driver, or equivalent for experienced candidates
- Track record of product development
- Passion for product ownership
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
- Experience in debugging methodologies and strategies for real-time embedded systems
- Python/ Swift/ Objective-C experience
- Proven self-starter and driven individual
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
