Assistant Supervisor, Piping-Benoi

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day to day on-site project supervision for newbuild, conversion and repairs of commercial or naval vessels
• Ensure works daily assigned jobs are carry out effectively and productively in order to meet customer specification and requirements.
• To ensure quality assurance on works completed to achieve delivery deadline, target and no safety incident.
• Accountable for Safety for all workers and men under his charge.
• Ensure and enforce safety regulation and requirement are complied with
• Constantly seek improvement in productivity and processes in the course of work

Requirements:

• NTC in Mechanical or Marine related fields
• Preferably 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience in marine industry for piping works
• Able to read piping diagrams such as System Schematics & Isometric drawings for fabrication and installation of Piping systems
• Understanding of machinery equipment and its functionalities
• Understanding of marine classification requirements.
• Knowledge on piping material requirements for both repair and new construction
• Possess man-management experience of 24-36 men, including supervisors and workers of subcons in both workshops and onboard vessels

• Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
