Job Scope:
This is a contract position with the potential to become permanent. The role involves active handling in the administration of procurement contracts and will need to lead the sourcing, negotiation, structuring and management of contractual procurement documents that establish and/or renew business relationships with suppliers.
This role will be required to review the documents for protection of the company’s contractual posture in accordance and adherence to company policy requirements. And where necessary, be supporting to advise contractual rights and obligations of those documents as well as providing interpretation of terms and conditions to the businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the formation, renewal and modifications of indirect contracts and its associated documents in a timely manner
- Lead sourcing activities which are required prior to contract renewal, in accordance with company policy prior to contract renewal. End to end process includes but not limited to, requirements gathering, launching of RfX, quote analysis, negotiation, drafting & award of contract etc.
- Responsible for maintaining contractual records and documentation such as contract correspondence, information sheets, status report and other documents as required
- Constantly review the suitability of contracts to fit the business’s needs and align with market practices
- Collaborate with legal, transactional team, and other teams to review contracts and support the team in establishing contractual templates
- Act as centralised point of contact for queries related to indirect contracts from business partners.
- Support all other aspects of contractual matters arising from Contract department in an ethical manner and in accordance with procedure
- Support other ad-hoc strategic initiatives, as needed
Basic experience & skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of sourcing experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in handling and managing procurement contracts
- Possess a thorough understanding of diverse pricing methodologies in dealing with a variety of purchases.
- Strong organisation skills, self-disciplined, methodological and meticulous
- Excellent verbal communication and written English

- Ability to demonstrate good judgement in an ambiguous and ever changing environment
