Key Job Accountabilities:

• Plan and manage the engine production schedule. Oversee all aspects of material planning & fulfillment, Inhouse repairs and Subcontract services for Commercial Engines Business Unit  
• Oversea inventory level at optimum level and work with Engineering/Operation to minimize obsolescence of parts
• Drive operational excellence and be accountable for engine on-time delivery, cost control to adhere to cost budget, and timely engine costing submission.
• Ensure logistic like engine shipment, freight forwarding, and Courier services, custom procedures, and rules are adhered to the standard and requirements.  
• Work closely with OPA who manages our engine spares and subcontract procurement to ensure they meet our requirements.
• Ensure compliance of quality standards and regulations laid down by airworthiness authorities and engine OEMs
• Promote a safety culture within the PP&C team and coordinate all environment health, and safety issues for the business unit to ensure a safe workplace
• Participate in customer focus teams to liaise with customers and coordinate with various functions such as Sales, Customer Support, Materials and Engineering to ensure customer satisfaction in all engine maintenance programs
• Provide leadership and guidance to the PP&C team of Material Planners, Production Planners, Kitters, and Store personnel
• Develop production team towards self-driven and versatile workforce through cross-functional training and skills development
• Lead Continuous Improvement/ Kaizen /Digitalization /Automation initiatives to reduce cost and drive productivity

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering Degree. Engineering degree in other specialization will also be considered
• Preferably 2 years in aerospace industry. Experience in other industries deemed relevant will be considered.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must
• Knowledge in SAP and/or Programming will be an added advantage
• Proven leadership track record with strong ability to drive and deliver results
• Highly motivated and self-directed with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
