Assistant Manager, Commercial, EES

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender proposal for projects such as water treatment plants and waste to energy plants
• Perform cost estimation for process plants (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control & automation, and civil & structural)
• Lead in procurement of major equipment and awarding of subcontractors and key suppliers
• Work closely with Engineering Design department and Project Team to ensure suppliers’ scope of supply fulfil requirements of specifications
• Handle clarifications meetings and commercial negotiation with suppliers 
• Handle contract disputes and variations orders from subcontractors
• Invoicing of payment and preparation variation orders to clients
• Review actual project cost incurred against budget
• Evaluate and summarise cost report with project team
• Prepare and maintain a database of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors and quotation records.
• Liaise with Purchasing department to provide continued feedback to ensure competitive pricing

Requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience in project procurement and contracting, preferably in Water/WTE EPC projects
• Diploma/Degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, civil or environmental engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience
• Experience in cost estimation for process plants
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP
• Able to read and understand technical drawings

• Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
• 5-day work week
• Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
