Assistant Engineer-Hull Outfittings Design (Benoi)

Project Management & Drafting:

1.     Prepare 2D arrangement, structural and detailed drawings, Production model and Information and Bill of Material for Approval, Working and As-Built.

2.     3D modelling of structure, outfitting, space management by using Aveva marine.

3.     Prepare detailed production engineering drawings to support production

4.     Prepare Material Take Off

5.     Prepare detailed room arrangement both in 3D and 2D.

6.     Assist in design calculations.

7.     Assist in the preparation of Major Equipment List.

8.     Assist in the preparation of equipment specifications.

9.     To ensure timely completion of design/drawings according to planned schedules and meeting the quality standards required.

10.  To ensure the quality control in the design/drawing process.

11.  To ensure that all documents are issued, updated, or filed according to the design procedure.

12.  Assist Engineers in solving technical problems onsite if needed.

13.  Participate in tests and trials, where required.

Competency Development

14.  Keep abreast with current technological developments and products.

15.  Keep abreast with Classifications Rules, military, and industrial standards relevant to design activities.

Knowledge and skills

·  

· – Good knowledge of international design codes, Classification/Statutory Rules, and Regulations.

· – Proficient in AutoCAD, AVEVA Marine and Rhino 3D software

· Hull outfitting/ Accommodation outfitting Design knowledge

Experience

·  

· At least 1-2 years’ experience in engineering detailed design in Marine/Offshore/Oil & Gas industry.

Education, Qualifications and Special Training

· At least Diploma in Marine/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
