The Architectural Project Manager is a key role within our dynamic engineering firm, responsible for overseeing all aspects of architectural projects from conception to completion. This position requires a strong understanding of architectural design, construction budgeting, project scheduling, and fee management. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines. They will also be proficient in using Archicad and REVIT model and have a keen eye for detail. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 2+ years of experience in architectural project management to join a forward-thinking team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of architectural projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure objectives are met.
- Coordinate and manage RFQ processes, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project team members to develop and implement project plans.
- Use Archicad and REVIT model to create and modify architectural designs and plans.
- Oversee fee management, ensuring fees are accurately calculated and collected in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Ensure all projects comply with industry regulations and standards, and that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural project management.
- Proficiency in Archicad and REVIT model, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of construction budgeting, project scheduling, and fee management.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards, and experience in obtaining necessary permits and licenses.
- Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues before they arise.
- LEED, WELL or other sustainable design accreditation a plus
