About the Role & Program

Are you a skilled social media photographer and videographer? Then this opportunity is for you! As an Alliance Marketing Intern, you will learn from the group responsible for developing and delivering customized marketing, promotions, activations, and experiences that help our brand partners tell unique and engaging stories with Disney. We act as the first point of contact when an alliance partner chooses to engage our services, and we are responsible for the entire project from development to delivery.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Lake Buena Vista, FL area from January 2025 – June 2025.

What You Will Do

If chosen for this internship, you will support and focus on fulfilling partner requests for social media content. You will frequently be on location inside Disney Parks and at key events to assemble footage for our partners looking to use their alliance marketing rights. On any given day you might:

• Collect partner food/beverage photography and video of partner activation on-property
• Identify and communicate key marketing and social communication trends
• Edit photo/video content, gain internal approvals for use, and assist internal copywriters with content captions for social posts
• Monitor current Disney Parks’ social channels and share exciting posts with the team
• Assist with other partner marketing tactics beyond social media

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Social media savvy on all major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, etc.) and a strong understanding of social media specs/file formats
• Knowledge of cell phone camera/video features including developing graphics, editing, text, effects, etc.
• Strong interpersonal communication with the ability to anticipate needs with integrity and confidentiality
• Upbeat self-starter who takes initiative – able to balance multiple tasks and priorities
• Problem solver with a positive growth mindset; willing to be flexible/adaptable as projects may evolve and change directions

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of DSLR cameras for photography
• Understanding of basic lighting principles

Education

• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) before participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at the time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
• Currently enrolled or graduated within the past six months majoring in Advertising, Business, Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Communications, or a closely related program

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization
• Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

Additional Information

• The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 – June 2025, in Lake Buena Vista, FL
• Full availability required to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship
• Able to provide own housing and reliable transportation to/from work
