What You’ll Do
- Source parts from distribution centers and other service center locations and allocate them to vehicle service appointments
- Monitor inventory within the parts system, communicate parts updates and availability with relevant team members
- Review upcoming appointments and ensure they are properly prepared and documented in our system · Prepare internal orders for shipment to other service center locations
- Process and return warranty part shipments for quality assurance including handling hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries
- Systematically receive, inspect, and put away stock and special-order parts · Consistently manage the inventory stock level by performing daily perpetual parts counts, and reporting discrepancies
- Proactively maintain automated inventory replenishment lists
- Ensure excellent organization of stock room to Tesla standard with grocery store aesthetics
- Collaborate across organization and communicate parts updates and availability
- Escalate parts issues from internal or external suppliers in collaboration with Regional Parts Manager, acting as a point of contact to vendors and giving constructive feedback that will contribute to future improvements
- Pick up and transport parts using van or forklift, engaging 3rd parties when necessary

What to Expect
The Wall Connector Deployment Manager role entails active program coordination of all deployment phases of Tesla’s own and operate Level 2 charging projects, including construction feasibility diligence, layout and design, utility design and easements, permitting, construction, site commissioning, and closeout. The ideal candidate has relevant hands-on experience managing infrastructure projects up to 50 projects at one time across multiple states and demonstrates a bias to action, logical problem solving, and mastery of a project’s tactical details. Finally, s/he brings high energy and an optimistic approach to fully completing projects in a swift and quality manner.
What You’ll Do
- Work collaboratively with the Site Acquisition and Development team to evaluate site prospects, engage with site hosts, and to perform due diligence.
- Manage all phases of design, entitlement, and construction of Wall Connector sites within a given territory. A key performance indicator is the number of stalls successfully opened for public use.
- Facilitate field site visits with third party vendors and contractors for due diligence on construction, engineering, utility/house power, and cost. Provide site reports and sketches as needed.
- Review title reports for ownership, encumbrances, and easements; assess construction viability and obtain approvals for right-of-way/easement as needed.
- Serve as the liaison with utility company personnel to determine optimal points of connection and/or with host facility points of connection for tapping existing power.
- Meet with zoning/permitting personnel to understand jurisdictional approval requirements and opportunities for timeline reduction. Track and manage status of all needed approvals.
- Develop preliminary layouts, engage/manage third party designers, and drive stakeholder approval on final drawings for permit.
- Review and approve construction bids and change orders. Provide support as needed to the installer/contractor during all phases of construction.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 2+ years project management, vendor management, and/or site development experience. Prior work in telecom/solar/retail development as a project manager, project engineer, installer, or site acquisition manager is valuable.
- Engineering/technical degree or equivalent practical experience (electrician, contractor, installer, etc.) preferred.
- Working knowledge of electrical design drawings, electrical equipment, power integration and utility design processes.
- Ability to travel (estimated 25-50%) required.
- Established record of accomplishment managing and delivering multiple simultaneous projects ahead of schedule while adhering to the highest quality and standards.
- Advanced knowledge of site development procedures, including regulatory and permitting processes.
- Skilled in reading, understanding and redlining zoning and construction drawings, including utility designs and power distribution details. Accountable to cost implications of construction design options and able to make cost-efficiency recommendations.

Tesla’s Service Shop Supervisors are the leaders of our service shop floor teams. In this role, you will be responsible for leading an engaged team of technicians while delivering an impeccable service experience through driving excellent results and delivering operational efficiency in our service centers.
What You’ll Do
- Provide effective supervision and coaching to assigned technical employees to achieve the required quality and service output goals. Maintain appropriate shop records and inventories. Manage the smooth flow of work through the service center.
- Serve as the process leader for shop activities, ensuring work standards are defined and systemically improved with input from service technicians and the rest of the service center team.
- Lead, coach and develop a highly engaged team of technicians.
- Partner with Service Manager and other key stakeholders to establish targets for quality, speed and cost in line with customer and business needs.
- Ensure that work standards and available engineering procedures are current, accurate and that all work is done in compliance to ensure maximum quality.
- Monitor to ensure that all employees comply with safety regulations and the service center’s safety program.
- Work with employees to resolve technical and personnel problems. Schedule employees to effectively meet service needs and to ensure vacation and other time off consistent with company policies.
- Responsible for selecting team members and ensuring they receive the required training. Conduct regularly scheduled one on one developmental meetings with team members to facilitate their professional development. Monitor training needs/requirements of the team and individuals and coordinate training as required in partnership with training team resources.
- Provide effective daily communication in order to keep all team members working toward the same goals. Communicate to employees all issues that affect the service center and overall service organization.
- Partner with Service Manager to scale and grow the service production team in support of company targets.
