Tesla is looking for a Mobile Service Roadside Router to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. Your goal would be to help increase roadside response and decrease tows to Service for items that can be addressed onsite, providing a one-touch Tesla experience. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who excel in working with customers in potentially high stress environments and can work through urgent situations with precision and speed. Our Mobile Service Advisor team is the heartbeat of our team’s operation, ensuring that our fleet of technicians are strategically positioned and that their workload is efficiently lined up to create the best customer experience possible. Strong communication is a must, as this team acts as the coordinate between the Roadside Support team and the Mobile Service team.
Experienced persons may have a background in emergency dispatching, roadside support, and/or high level customer service type roles. Candidates must be able to thrive in a high energy team environment managing multiple events at once, responding with urgency. You will work regularly with our Customer Support team, Roadside Assistance team and Mobile Service teams. You will partner with them to carry out Tesla’s mission of accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy by ensuring our customers receive the best service possible in their most sensitive time in ownership, creating lifelong customers and advocates to our brand
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for roadside response across a multi-market, assigned geographic area
- Manage customer expectations around response times and services provided
- Provide highest level of verbal and written communication to the Mobile Tire and Roadside Support teams
- Coordinate service with Mobile Service Technicians in urgent and non-urgent situations when needed
- Work in a creative and pro-active manner to resolve customer flat tire events, and other roadside related concerns, using the resources at your disposal
- Partner with local Parts teams to understand inventory levels and locations
- Strategically stage and schedule the fleet ensuring they are placed in areas to efficiently respond to roadside requests and scheduled jobs continuously throughout the day
- Accurately manage job information and requests into dispatch operations system and CRM

What You’ll Do
- Engage walk-in guests promptly, and personally with the goal of opening the conversation and ensuring they feel welcome
- Excite, engage, and educate customers through calls, emails, texts, and outbound events about Tesla’s product offering and answering questions
- Help Tesla maintain a healthy sales pipeline by collecting customer contact information, scheduling and copiloting Test Drives for individuals who exhibit purchase intent
- Actively contribute to achieving monthly sales and delivery targets by meeting and exceeding individual Sales and KPI targets
- Effectively present, sell and support the delivery and installation of the entire Tesla eco-system
- Provide the highest level of customer service throughout the full sales and delivery cycle; as well as the installation process, and provide continued support throughout ownership
- Prepare, stage, and charge customer vehicles in advance of their scheduled delivery appointment
- Educate new owners by conducting a comprehensive vehicle orientation, tailored to the individual customer’s needs and comfort level
- Execute customer documents on delivery day
- Demonstrate a mastery of all Tesla products and services. Keep up with EV industry trends and local incentives
- Conduct direct deliveries from Delivery Centers to customer homes
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs
What You’ll Bring

The Vehicle Readiness Specialist is a key contributor to the Tesla experience by preparing vehicles for customers, and working with teammates to find opportunities for continuous improvement and new ways of vehicle readiness. This position is responsible for the high-quality preparation of customer cars, washing vehicles, and preparing new customer delivery vehicles. What You’ll Do
- Clean service, loaner, and gallery vehicles
- Clean vehicle exteriors and interiors in compliance with company standards
- Operate steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment
- Ability to spot check and manage paint correction onsite as needed
- Track schedules, prioritize, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Communicate with various teams that are involved in the vehicle orientation process
- Manage inventory and reorder supplies, as needed
- Troubleshoot issues and escalate to management through appropriate channels when needed
