Job Responsibilities:
- Administration and support of security infrastructure based on Symantec Endpoint Protection suite of products.
- Responsible for planning, designing, deploying, optimization, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, testing, generating health and operational reports and documenting procedure manuals.
- Review, update and fine-tune SEP policy configurations and security controls to strengthen security posture, protect endpoints from malicious and anomalous activities and detect and respond to threats.
- Work with respective teams/vendors on incidents, requests and execution of changes related to SEP infrastructure and ensure the SLAs are met as per the support agreement.
- Perform backup and restore of SEP infrastructure based on business requirement.
- Keep abreast of IT security technology advancements and best practices, and recommend appropriate security enhancements.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in administration and support of critical security infrastructure platforms and technologies.
- Technical competency and experience in Symantec Endpoint Protection platform, Symantec Mail Security for MS Exchange and Symantec Data Center Security:Server Advanced.
- Relevant certification such as ITIL Foundation, CompTia+ Security, Symantec Certified Specialist, etc. would be an advantage.
- Strong problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Proactive and independent team player, able to work effectively with limited supervision.
- Positive mind set, willing to learn and adapt to the user domain.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Singaporeans only.
