If selected for this role, you will work with the Entertainment Systems Application Manager. The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 to June 2025. This is a full-time position, and interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship in Orlando, FL.
The Entertainment Systems Business Systems Analyst Intern uses their knowledge of software programs and business strategies to help DLE Systems improve efficiency, ensure security, and provide communication. Their duties include talking with management to resolve their needs, coordinating with IT Security to audit and track application compliance. Also, to provide documentation or build software user stories based on the needs of DLE employees to help provide effective use of DLE Systems supported software and applications.
What you will do
- Perform testing, review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.
- Project development for tracking application enhancements.
- Project development for tracking break/fix operations.
- Review and understand feedback from IT Security, ISPS, and Auditing.
- Follow written requirements, verbal instructions, and pre-established guidelines to complete projects.
- Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and business knowledge.
- Work directly with LOB partners to understand the individual needs of the business.
- Use a variety of data analysis tools to discover potential improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to forge working relationships with a multitude of business partners.
- Ability to easily understand and act on highly technical concepts.
- Strong report writing and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong computer skills in both Windows and Mac environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge or some experience with Project management tools like Jira.
- Strong interest in Entertainment Industry.
Required Education
Currently enrolled undergraduate student in an accredited college/university, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
- At the time of application, be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
- Able to provide own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Orlando, FL area. Also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace.
