Description
The Mobility Specialist partners with Burns & McDonnell Global Practices and subsidiaries to assist in delivering Human Resources guidance and services to our employees who require relocation or work in the field. The Mobility Specialist will help employee-owners that have unique work assignments both domestically or internationally or have general mobility/relocation needs. This role will partner with our Global Practices and businesses to provide guidance, support, and training for mobility needs in the most effective and efficient manner to help drive business outcomes. This is an onsite opportunity M-F at our World Headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri.
- Maintain relationships between the Human Resources Department and employees of the company and subsidiaries to facilitate the success of Burns & McDonnell’s mobility plan goals.
- Consult with project teams to align needs with international and domestic assignment strategy.
- Provide guidance on best method to staff projects abroad and cost estimates.
- Review and identify potential risks and key market trends in new international markets.
- Actively monitor domestic and international assignments.
- Troubleshoot problems associated with employee mobility.
- Administer and manage the domestic field assignment program.
- Responsible for auditing and processing confidential data for employee-owners.
- Prepares and submits documentation timely for mobility needs.
- Conducts trainings on mobility topics and maintains online training resources for management.
- Maintains company mobility intranet pages.
- Assist with Bristol Global Mobility relocation mobility platform.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Finance, or related field. and 4 years related experience required, preferably working with mobility policies, regulations and laws.
- Previous experience working with relocation and immigration companies a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft software systems and Internet-based tools is required.
- Ability to develop creative and innovative strategies.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and research skills.
- Must demonstrate ability to build strong relationships and provide excellent customer service.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly present complex information.
- Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and manipulation of numeric data.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently and organize and prioritize work while managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
