Digital Building Components, part of the DPR family of companies, is looking for a Framing Modeler who will be responsible for developing cold-formed steel (CFS) framing detailed 3D models, framing shop drawings, and spool sheets using REVIT, MWF, and Navisworks.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Developing detailed 3D models, construction and manufacturing drawings using REVIT & MWF.
- Work with team members to design, layout or detail cold-formed steel framing components and structural systems utilizing MWF.
- Troubleshoot and modify drawings as needed.
- Generate and verify framing shop drawings and spool sheets.
- Generate bill of materials.
- Perform BIM model coordination and clash detection/resolution with the project team and trade partners.
- Design and troubleshoot standardized steel framing conditions with project specific requests.
- Ensure a quality product via thorough contract design and coordination.
- Support Production spool sheet questions during panel fabrication.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Understanding of load-bearing and/or exterior by-pass framing (in metal or wood).
- General understanding of basic building systems.
- CFS framing and/or EIFS/rainscreen finishes experience is a plus.
- Architectural and structural engineering plans reading and interpretation.
- Understanding of electrical, plumbing and mechanical is a plus.
- Understanding of curtain wall, storefront, window, and door shops is a plus.
- Good interpersonal skills and strong willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Bluebeam, Box, Procore, and/or BIM360/ACC is a plus.
Education & Experience:
- The ideal candidate will be a Framing, Revit or Dynamo expert.
- Experience in Revit, MWF, and/or Navisworks (2yrs min) or experience with cold-formed steel carpentry (5yrs min) is required.
- High School diploma or general equivalency diploma and/or 3+ years of related experience.
- Accredited training & certification or professional experience with AutoCAD and REVIT or other 3D modeling software.
- Carpentry apprenticeship or equal experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
