We are looking for a Corporate Payroll Administrator to provide leadership support for the Payroll department. This role will assist other teams with functions that supplement the processing of payroll, to allow others to focus on making sure their processes continue to run smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will be required to oversee administrative and clerical activities, such as collect, organize, and retrieve information and documents. This position works a hybrid schedule: in the office Tues – Thurs, remote Mon and Fri.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Open/Scan Tax/Garnishment Mail (J&E & Dayforce)
- Review and action as needed for employee address and or SSN changes
- Tax and Payroll Funding reports to Finance as needed
- Manage Paycard Audit process
- Run reports and disburse to the proper parties.
- Payroll Hotline; Responding to employee emails addressing concerns and help answer questions, Resetting passwords
- Assisting with pulling historical or current data for audits.
- Support with creating Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist in working specific Payroll audit reports.
- Assist other teams in updating Fringe Rates if needed
- Assistance with Payroll related communications as needed. Examples: Annually, Quarterly or Holidays
- Serve as backup for check printing/ACH transmission processes for J&E
- Other administrative duties, as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalency required
- 2 years of general payroll knowledge of payroll and W2 forms
- 2 or more years of administrative experience.
- Committed to facilitating smooth, efficient office operations by planning carefully, anticipating needs, and providing responsive, reliable assistance.
- Adaptable, proactive, supportive, and detail-oriented.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity of both DayForce and J&E payroll systems a plus.
- Proactive, organized approach to multitasking.
- Must be able to work as an individual contributor and as a collaborative team member effectively to meet deadlines.
