STV has a position for a Marketing Assistant located in our New York City office within our Buildings Group’s Marketing Communications team. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days week/in office).
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and driven individual seeking a junior-level position that could lead to a rewarding marketing career. The diverse markets that the firm is invested in affords an entry level or experienced professional the opportunity to grow professionally and collaborate on exciting projects across the country. You will be working with a top-notch proposal group, participating in all stages of procurement process, from strategy and research to proposal preparation and interviews.
Responsibilities:
- Support our marketing team in the preparation of qualifications statements and proposals, which involves assisting with research, editing, coordination with technical staff and subconsultants, as well as production (i.e., reproduction, packaging, delivery)
- Perform client lead tracking and other research
- Work with the other marketing staff, principals, project managers, and other technical staff to edit existing and draft new materials such as professional resumes, project descriptions, profiles, and approaches
- Support with CRM administration including data entry, reporting and knowledge management
- Gather firm information to fill out client-specific forms to accompany vendor prequalifications and proposals
- Perform and assist team with other marketing duties as needed
Requirements:
- Excellent writing, editing, storytelling and proofreading skills
- AEC industry proposal experience required
- Federal proposal experience strongly preferred
- Commitment to quality, strategy and attention to detail
- Resourceful, self-starter, with motivation to learn and be a part of a team
- Flexibility and ability to manage multiple assignments and, when necessary to meet deadlines, be willing to work overtime
- Curiosity about the built environment
Qualifications:
- Associates/Bachelor’s degree (or demonstrated equivalency) in literature, journalism, communications or a related field
- Experience in Microsoft ® Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign

Compensation Range: $46,713.00 – $62,284.00
