About the Role & Team:
The Disney Consumer Products (DCP) team is responsible for creating, developing, and bringing to life Disney merchandise across Disney Parks, Disney Stores, shopDisney, and licensed products sold all across the world!
Be Part of the Story at The Walt Disney Company as a Retail Marketing Coordinator! In this role, you will directly support the implementation and completing for all aspects of marketing on our Specialty and Other accounts. You will be an active team member giving to program conceptualization and operational feasibility. This role reports to the Manager, Retail Marketing.
What You Will Do:
- Program coordination and completion for the specialty channel of retailers
- Develop relationships with account contacts, retail marketing teams, Disney Creative and Disney Sourcing & Procurement
- Own action items and follow-up from meetings, emails, etc.
- Communicate with retailers, licensees, and other partners regarding specific projects
- Handle all job starts through completion including retailer and licensee interaction for assets and approvals
- Develop all program timelines, ensuring parties are on-schedule and all brand guidelines are met
- Deliver final creative files to vendors and retailers for production, ensuring all technical specs have been met
- Contribute to the decision-making process with Sourcing & Procurement regarding estimates and execution for all materials, insuring cost savings and deadlines
- Initiate viable tracking and reporting
- Support execution and archiving of program recaps
- Support fund process with Manager including monthly and quarterly finance reconciliation, accrual submission and follow through
- Create & maintain professional presentations
- Support event management
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years combination of retailer/ad marketing experience and project management, budget management or event management experience
- Adaptability to using corporate systems and functionality
- Knowledge of creative file types and general understanding of creative specs and dimensions
- Proficiency in basic computer functions necessary to operate in a Windows environment and other technologies including Keynote and intermediate working knowledge of Excel
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA, is $47,900 to $64,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
