In this role, you will
- Develop, test, and document innovative process automation solutions for Finance
- Provide ongoing support to automations in production and troubleshoot exception occurrences
- Contribute to Finance Transformation initiative by being a champion for new technology
This role is for you if

- You have developed automation / RPA solutions using object-oriented programming or other similar tools (incl. UiPath, Alteryx, Microsoft Power Platform, WorkFusion, Visual Basic/VBA)

Expectations and Responsibilities:
Automation Development and Process Improvement
- Designs, builds, and tests automation solutions in accordance with standard delivery methodology, security policies and business requirements; ensure detailed solution documentation
- Serve as a strategic thought partner working with operational teams and business units, as well as Enterprise and Segment Technology teams, to formulate enhancement options to address specific functional issues / requirements
- Maintains a solutions library to ensure process understanding, and efficient recycling
- Prioritizes self-training and development
Project Management
- Lead small to medium scale projects, or portions of a larger project
- Liaise with Disney Enterprise Technology as necessary, ensure alignment with Company standards and support business requirements
- Works with others to conduct initial screenings of automation use cases, clarify or interpret complex information and make recommendations for automation or improvement
Strategy and Governance
- Participate and align with the long-term strategy for Finance and related processes, including prioritizing project work and other efforts
- Assists leadership in developing and maintaining customer/stakeholder relationships and driving buy-in/commitment
- Connect business and process priorities to the greater organizational goals
Required Qualifications
- Experience implementing robotic process automation (RPA) or other automation solutions (e.g., UiPath, Alteryx, Microsoft Power Platform, WorkFusion, Visual Basic/VBA)
- Minimum 2 years working with object-oriented programming (e.g., C#/.NET, Java)
- Experience using enterprise SQL database platforms (MS SQL, Oracle, My SQL, SSRS)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in version control systems such as GitLab and GitHub, with experience managing repositories, branching and merging code, and collaborating with distributed teams
- Experience using continuous improvement and project management methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PMP or similar)
- Experience using business intelligence, data visualization and/or reporting systems (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects Analysis, Cognos, MS SQL Report Builder or similar)
- Experience in finance and accounting organizations or projects
- Experience supporting a global operation
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems/Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Preferred Education:
- Master’s degree in Information Systems/Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
