Responsibilities:
- To ensure the supply of materials meet ship’s maintenance schedule and to maintain minimum stock to support availability of service
- Build up material master for equipment, assemblies and components in vendor’s system and SAP
- Forecast Material needs based on maintenance schedule
- Create purchase requests
- Work with Project Managers and Production supervisors to support project schedule
- Liaise with Suppliers and Procurement on material availability and expedition for production
- Update material usage and obsolescence
- Generate material and maintenance reports
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in any Engineering disciplines
- Comfortable in communicating with 3rd party suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Knowledge in SAP would be advantageous but not necessary
- Familiarity with ship systems will be advantageous
- Good in planning and meticulous with details
- Good Proficiency in MS Excel
- Able to work independently and take initiative to follow up on issues
- Open to Singapore Citizens Only
Other Information:
- Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
- 5 days work week
- Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
