Tesla’s Global Sales & Service Operations and Analytics team supports this mission by driving strategic priorities and using data and analysis to generate actionable insights. We partner with regional analytics, planning, and operations teams to set and achieve targets and coordinate with global stakeholders to drive alignment and optimization initiatives.
We combine world-class analytics with broader business decision-making and strategy, directly supporting Tesla’s leadership team. This team is embedded in daily operations of the vehicle sales, delivery, and service organization, supporting both near-term execution and long-term planning. Team members are expected to analyze data, generate recommendations, and lead cross-functional decision-making and implementation of the recommendations.

We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about working closely with the regional sales & service teams to develop, implement, and track critical business initiatives and help inform global sales & service planning. This individual will work side-by-side with the rest of the global sales & service planning & operations team. Successful members on our team have come from both business and technical backgrounds but all share a growth mindset and are constantly improving their knowledge and skills through continuous learning.
What You’ll Do
- You will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the infrastructure (real estate, internal fleet, etc.) teams that support Tesla’s growth within the global sales, delivery, and service organizations. You will partner closely with the real estate and fleet operational and planning teams within our regional Sales & Service organizations and across functions (digital products, finance, legal, etc.) to find and execute on the highest leverage opportunities. Some activities include:
- Drive consistency in near-term and long-term planning and operational reporting to ensure Tesla infrastructure is growing to support the business’ needs
- Create best-in-class global tools to maximize capex efficiency across Tesla’s customer-facing real estate and fleet assets
- Partner closely with the product teams for Tesla’s internal digital platforms on business requirements, standards, and reporting to ensure they meet the needs of the operational teams
- Develop regular executive and operational reporting on real estate expansion and fleet utilization and work with planning and operational teams to implement best practices
- Drive global consistency on key forecasting/model inputs across teams and identify/execute on opportunities to improve forecasting tools and methodologies
- Develop ad hoc analysis and communicate key insights to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to help teams stay nimble in dynamic environments
What You’ll Bring
- A deep sense of curiosity about how Tesla leverages its real estate footprint and vehicle fleet to meet customer needs and support its ongoing growth
- Excellent ability to use modeling to translate complex ideas/assumptions into actionable analysis/planning
- Evidence of exceptional ability, especially within an ambiguous environment, and a strong drive for excellence
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics or equivalent and 5+ years of professional experience
- Demonstrated success driving tangible impact / influencing within a broader organization, especially in an analytical/operational role
- Excellent analytical skills (e.g. Microsoft Office applications, financial modeling, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with senior business leaders
- Highly collaborative, team-oriented, and comfortable leading cross-functional projects
- Excellent problem-framing, problem solving and project management skills
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to change
- A hands-on approach and capable of leading, developing, and motivating a team
- Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment

Expected Compensation
$68,000 – $222,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
