What to Expect

Tesla Gigafactory is looking for a Sr. licensed Architect with 8-10 years of experience working within the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) organization working on multiple projects and site across the globe.  Responsible for driving innovation and first principles mindset, executing projects and professional growth, and promoting collaboration between all project disciplines

What You’ll Do

• Project Execution
• First Principles Mindset
• Project Quality, Standards, Specifications, Staffing Requests
• Drives Discipline Coordination
• Team Morale, Dynamics, Capability / Capacity Gaps
• Designing, producing construction documents, obtaining building permits
• Architect of record for some projects 
• Code Planning / Life Safety design
• Participate in project scheduling and cost estimating
• Develop process improvements / workflows / templates to increase design productivity
• Learn, advance, and increase quality through construction observation / administration

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture, or equivalent
• Revit expereience
• Experience and knowledge of different project delivery methods
• Construction administration experience
• Work well under pressure and can manage multiple large teams at the same time
• Must be licensed in state where facility or “site” is located or able to get reciprocity
• Promote and Support licensure of junior staff
• Become mentors for junior and unlicensed staff
• Sign off NCARB hours
