What to Expect
The Service Development team is looking for an experienced and dedicated Technician ready to tackle problems impacting Service Technicians globally. The focus is to improve service repair processes and influence vehicle design by utilizing technical skills and creativity. You will need to take initiative as an individual as well as pivot quickly for team goals and targets.

What You’ll Do
- Develop service repair processes and establish repair times for current and future models
- Identify, test, and implement improvements for current service repair processes
- Examine CAD design and recognize improvements for current and future models
- Evaluate prototype tooling through design phases leading to global field use
- Research and comprehend field facing issues to identify process and design improvements
- Take in feedback from Service Technicians to enable continuous improvement of repair procedures and products
- Participate with a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful attitude in an ever-changing dynamic environment
- Provide daily updates for project tracking, including time and materials
- Possess the ability to manage time and projects to meet targets and deadlines
- Support all aspects of our technical operations
- Assist with onboarding and training of new team members
What You’ll Bring
- Position requires onsite attendance with the team
- High attention to detail
- Tesla service technician with at least 3 years’ experience
- Experience maintaining and repairing vehicles
- Fluent in Tesla vehicle architecture
- Proficiency or ability to learn CAD programs
- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High priority projects will require staying until the job is done.
- Physical ability to perform all workshop tasks
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Must be at least 18 years of age
