Purpose of the Job:
Support on Financial Profitability & Analysis (FP&A), Month End Closing, Financial Reporting of Defence Public Security Cluster and related operating units.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Preparing monthly financial presentation on timely basis with high quality in terms of deliverables and content
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders in obtaining different sort of information and able to provide in-depth analysis
- Provide full finance support for Defence Public Security Finance cluster
- Management reporting and KPI measurement for financial targets to be aligned with business outcomes, financial reporting and net working capital management
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Ad hoc projects as assigned
- Be well versed in Financial Reporting Standards and it is critical be able to apply the FRSes for the respective financial books under purview
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or other professional accounting qualifications
- Chartered Accountant/ CPA a must.
- At least >5 years of Financial Accounting and Business Controlling; with min. 3 years’ experience as a Finance manager
- Must be Hands on and highly proficient with MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, SAP and Hyperion
- Knowledge on Project Costing/ WBS settlement will be preferred
- Experience in amalgamation process
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills and sound knowledge of accounting, taxation standards and relevant statutory requirements
- Able to work independently under high pressure with very limited resources
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Working location at Ang Mo Kio
