Machinist

• Proficient and technically able to perform the following tasks:

   – Turning, boring, cylindrical grinding and surface grinding

   – Set-up and operate conventional lathe, milling and grinding machines

   – Use different types of measuring equipment to perform in-process inspection

   – Check wheel balancing

   – Interpretation of technical drawing

   – Carry out good quality grinding work within job schedule

• Preferably with grinding and machining experience in Aerospace component MRO environment.
• Willingness to cross-train to operate conventional or CNC machines
• Good working attitude and display a keen interest to learn and excel.
• Ability to work independently.
• Attentive to details and ability to understand Component Maintenance Manuals.
• Maintain 5S standards and good housekeeping at all times.
• Able to perform shiftwork (Morning and Afternoon on rotational basis), if necessary.
(A practical test may be conducted to evaluate suitability of candidate)
