Production Technician

Job Description:

• Set up, operate and perform basic daily maintenance on the following machines as assigned at respective plant.
  • Cleaning Line.
  • Furnaces (Heat Treatment of Copper Alloys).
  • Band Crimping Machines with the associated Automated loaders/ Un-Loaders.
  • Tumbling and Spin-Drying Machines.
  • Fuze Sub Assembly Machine.
• Assist the Supervisors with Manpower Arrangements.
• Label, pack & palletize of Parts, Boxes, Pallet, etc.
• Handle/ shift of parts/ equipment involving the use of lifting equipment (Jib Cranes, Overhead Cranes, Lifting Tables, Pallet Jacks, Trolley, etc.).
• Meet of daily production output.
• Perform In-Process inspection as per process sheet.
• Perform daily house keeping & 5S.
• Train of Operators/ Technicians, after gaining experience.
• General Ad-Hoc task assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or Precision Engineering, etc.
• Possess Forklift Licence will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in interpreting Mechanical Technical Drawings will be an advantage.
• Must be a Team Player.
• Must be Computer Literate, basic knowledge in Excel, Words, etc. will be an added advantage.
• Able to comply with Company Policies, Security Regulation and EHS Regulations.
