Sr. Software Architect (100% remote)

Full Time / Direct-Hire

Salary : $200K – $250K base

Summary :

As a proactive and visionary Software Architect, you will be a key leader responsible for defining and driving the technical direction for an industry-leading cybersecurity platform.

Our client provides cutting-edge security management solutions that enable organizations to protect their critical assets and networks from cyber threats.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and security experts, to design and deliver innovative software solutions that empower our customers to proactively manage their security posture.

Environment : Java, JavaScript TypeScript, React, NodeJS, Python, AWS, etc.

Responsibilities :

• Develop high-level software architecture that align with the organization’s technical and business objectives. Consider factors such as scalability, maintainability, performance, security, and integration capabilities
• Technical Leadership : Provide strong technical leadership and guidance to the software development teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Create and evolve the high-level architectural vision and roadmap for the cybersecurity platform, ensuring it aligns with the company’s strategic goals and market demands
• Proactive Solutions : Identify opportunities to enhance the platform’s capabilities proactively, anticipating customer needs, and staying ahead of emerging security threats and technologies
• Design software systems that scale efficiently to support the growing needs of enterprise customers while maintaining optimal performance
• Integrate security best practices and compliance standards into the software architecture to ensure the highest level of security for our customers’ data and infrastructure
• Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools, and recommend their adoption to improve the platform’s functionality and maintain a competitive edge
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable and robust software designs
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and guidelines to facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing among team members
• Stay abreast of industry trends, security advancements, and best practices, incorporating relevant innovations into company platform
• Conduct periodic code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards to maintain code quality and software reliability

Requirements :

• Multiple years of experience as a Software Architect or a similar role, with a track record of designing and implementing successful software systems.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and technologies (J ava, JavaScript TypeScript, React, NodeJS, Python, etc.)
• Cloud computing experience (Amazon Web Services / AWS)
• Experience with various architectural patterns and design principles.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities to guide and motivate development teams towards architectural goals and push projects to completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
